Essence of kerala- 13 Nights/14 Days.
DESTINATIONS : Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry-Madurai-Rameshwaram-Kanyakumar-Trivendrum-Alleppey-Cochin Airport-Banglore-Puttaparti-Kanchipuram.


Day 01:-Delhi - Chennai By Flight

Arrive Chennai, meet assist at the airport and transfer to hotel. Later proceed on a half Day sightseeing tour of Chennai covering St. Thomas Church, Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St. George and drive past the Marina Beach. Night stay in Chennai.

Day 02 :-Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry
After breakfast drive for Chennai stop inroute visit Mahabalipuram-This is a small, quiet seaside resort with a unique 7th-century Shore Temple, a lovely beach and some of the most beautiful rock-cut temples in the world. Situated on the shore of the Bay of Bengal, Mahabalipuram was uilding. Visit the seven pagoda-style Shore temples, lashed by the waves of the sea and the seven rathas or temple chariots, a group of monolithic monuments & animal figures carved out of solid rock, the earliest known examples of Dravidian architecture. They were constructed in a single century-long burst of creative enthusiasm, starting in the reign of Narasimhavarman 1 (AD 630-68). End the visit by photography of the beautiful Shore temples at sunset. Afternoon drive to Pondicherry, which is 132 kms. & approx 04 hrs. drive to visit Aurbindo Ashram, the city of dawn, which is 10kms north of Pondicherry. This ashram promotes Aurbindo's ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter. After lunch at hotel, visit Auroville-a unique experiment in international living and in creating a new environment where men and women of all nationalities live together in harmonyTransfer to hotel. Night stay in Pondicherry.

Day 03: -Pondicherry -Madurai
After Breakfast today, check out from the Hotel and proceed to Madurai. Upon arrival, check in to the Hotel Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Madurai. In the evening visit the Meenakshi Temple to attend the "Aarti" ceremony. The Tirumalai Naikkar Palace, Alakar Koil etc.. Nightstay in Madurai.

Day 04 :- Madurai-Rameshwaram (175 KMS-04 Hours drive)
Early morning drive to Rameshwaram, the most sacred pilgrimage destinations of India. No pilgrimage is over without taking a trip to this holy island of Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram, as it is said, is the place where Lord Rama offered thanks to Lord Shiva in return for his support in defeating King Ravana. This makes Rameshwaram an important pilgrimage destination for devotees of both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Situated in the Ramanathapuram of Tamil Nadu, Rameshwaram is home to some of the most fascinating temples in entire India. This island in the Gulf of Mannar is connected to the mainland at Mandapam by Indira Gandhi Bridge. Completed in the year 1988, this was considered as an engineering marvel, a feat unparalleled at that time.

Day 05 :- Rameshwaram-Kanyakumari (250 KMS-06 Hours drive)
After early breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Kanyakumari, on arrival check into Hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Kanyakumari visit Suchithram Temple, Devi.Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock, Gandhi Memorial and Triveni Sangam. Evening watch the most beautiful Sunset of Kanyakumari. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kanyakumari.

Day 06 :- Kanyakumari-Trivandrum
Early morning witness the sunrise from the terrace of the hotel and after breakfast drive to Trivandrum On arrival straight transfer to Kovalam. Which is renowned internationally and a favorite haunt of tourists since 1930.On Arrival Check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure or free to explore the beach on own. This consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. One can get birds eye view of Kovalam beach form the light house located at the end of the beach.
OPTIONAL-Before proceeding to Kovalam attend a city tour of Trivandrum Visit Napier Museum which built in the 19thcentury, this indo-Saracenic structure build in red and brown bricks boasts a natural air conditioning system and houses a rare collection of archaeological and historic bronze idols a chariot etc and the Srichithra art gallery displays select paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Svetlova and Nicholas Roe rich.

Day 7 :- Kovalam to Alappuzha : By surface (Apprx. 170 kms)
After breakfast drive to Alleppey. On arrival, embark on a Houseboat for an overnight cruise through the palm-fringed canals of Alleppey. Watch the Paddy fields, village folk; relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind and waves. This mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its charm. Cruise till 18:00 hrs by when the houseboat halts in the lake for overnight stay. This journey is considered to be one of the best attractions. The house boat is fully furnished with a double bedrooms, sundeck, private balcony and a kitchen. It also comprises a chef, Oarsmen & cabin assistant. The materials that go into the making are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fiber ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc. Lunch, Dinner & Overnight .

Day 08 :-Alleppey-Cochin Airport-Banglore
After breakfast leave for Cochin Airport for Banglore flight, Bangalore a modern metropolis of India. Arrive at Bangalore and transfer to hotel. take a half day guided city tour visiting the Vidhan Soudha, Tippu's Summer Palace and Lallbagh Botanical Gardens Cubbon Park, , Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan's ,Bull Temple and St.Patrick's Church. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09 :-Banglore-Puttapartti
After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Puttaparthi. On the way visit theVeerbhadra Temple at Lepshki. Check-in to the Hotel on arrival. Relax for a while and proceed for Puttaparthi sight seeing which includes the Sai Baba Ashram and Museum. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10 :-Puttapartti
Morning again visit the Ashram and attend the activities held there. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 :-Puttapartti-Banglore-Kanchipuram( By Road) approx-181 (4 hrs 45 min puttapart to banglore
Drive Banglore to Kanchipuram, which is 280 kms. & 5 hrs 20 min. drive. Kanchipuram-known as the Golden City of a Thousand Temples, is one of the oldest towns in India. It is famous for both its temples, many of them remarkably well preserved and for its hand-woven silks. Kanchipuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India and it is the only one associated with both Shiva and Vishnu. Visit Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kamakshi Temple, the Vaikunthaperumal Temple, all built in the 7th and 8th centuries. With a weaving tradition dating back to the Pallava era (when silk was the royal cloth), Kanchipuram is justly famous for its particularly fine silk saris, embellished with stunning patterns. Visit the local homes of the weavers and watch them create magic out of silk thread into saris. late Transfer to hotel. Night stay in Kanchipuram. .

Day 12:-Kanchipuram-Chennai
Arrive Chennai. Meet assist at the airport and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Chennai.

Day 13 :-Chennai
Morning proceed for city tour of Chennai. It is the fourth largest city in India. The sprawling city which is divided in two by the cooum River, has few tall buildings to mark the impression of an easygoing market town The gracefulness is present in Madras in such liberal quantities is propriate. Visit the Fort St. George-Still surrounded by cannon-proof walls. Within the fort, visit St. Thomas Mount, San Thome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple and the National Art Gallery. Night in Chennai.

Day 14 :-Chennai-Auckland
Early morning after breakfast drop to Chennai airport for your onward Auckland
